Procurement Nears Completion For Bus Route Between Kildare And Newbridge Train Stations Via Suncroft

Councillors will be updated once further details are confirmed.

Kildare County Council has been asked to contact the National Transport Authority to assess the possibility of a Local Link bus service between the Curragh and Newbridge.

Council officials say Local Link Kildare South Dublin is already concluding a procurement process for a new Connecting Ireland service - a seven-day-a-week route between Kildare Train Station and Newbridge, via Suncroft.

Councillors will be updated once further details are confirmed.

The response was provided to Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer (FG).
