Cllr. Fintan Brett raised the issue at the recent Naas MD meeting.
Kildare County Council has confirmed that it has plans to upgrade the public lighting in Kilteel Village to LED.
Fine Gael Cllr. Fintan Brett asked the question at this week's meeting of the Naas Municipal District.
In it's response, KCC said that "the lighting will be upgraded as part of the PLEEP (Public Lighting Energy Efficiency Project). PLEEP is an LED retrofitting project and under the project, all the remaining non-LED lights will be replaced with LEDs.
The expected commencement of installation is Q1 2024.
