A rescheduled information event about a proposed biomethane plant at Ballyvass between Kilkea and Castledermot will be held on March 5th at the Talbot Hotel Carlow.

Last week, the event was cancelled due to potential "disruption" and "disorder".

The event will be held by CycleØ Group, and will take place between 2pm and 7pm.

Attendees can drop in at a time that suits them.

Kfm recently reported that some locals expressed fears about possible explosions and the facility's impact on house prices, which can be read here.
