Resurfacing Works Begin On 6 Routes In The Athy Municipal District Today.

These are week-long projects.

Resurfacing works begin on 6 routes in the Athy Municipal District today.

Kildare County Council says the five day project is due to conclude on Friday evening.

The routes to be treated are:

L8089 – Lisbush to Ballaghmoon

L8091 – Crooket

L8086 / L8087 – Blackcastle to Sills Cross

L8086 – Beaconstown

L8040 – Peelhall

L8078 – Nicholastown

Works will take place between 7am and 7pm, daily, but they are weather depenended.

KCC says "Traffic management systems will be in place to facilitate the works. Delays are to be expected."
