Eastbound traffic will be redirected towards Rathangan and onto the R414. Traffic will be redirected in Rathangan onto the R401 for Kildare. Traffic shall be redirected at The Forge Crossroads onto the R401 and finish at the L7007 (Thomastown Crossroads).

Westbound traffic will be redirected towards The Forge Crossroads and directed onto the R401 towards Rathangan. Traffic will be redirected in Rathangan onto the R414 and directed onto the L7008 at Tullylost to finish at Springfield Crossroads.

Alternative Routes:

Eastbound traffic shall be directed at the junction with the L7009 onto the L7008 and redirected at Springfield Crossroads onto the L7007. Traffic will then be directed onto the L7007 towards Thomastown Cross and onto the R401 to Kildare Town. Traffic shall then be directed onto the L7015 (South Green Road) to end at the junction with the L7009.

Westbound traffic shall be directed onto the L7015 (South Green Road) and then will be redirected onto the R401 towards Rathangan. Traffic will be directed at Thomastown Cross onto the L7007 towards Springfield Cross where it will be redirected onto the L7008 until the diversion finishes at the junction with the L7009.

Alternative Routes:

Southbound traffic shall be directed at Walshestown Crossroads onto the R416 into Athgarvan and will be redirected in Athgarvan onto the L2032 towards Athgarvan National School. Traffic will be redirected onto the R413 to finish at the L7043 junction.

Northbound traffic shall be directed onto the R413 towards Kilcullen. Traffic will then be directed onto the L2032 towards Athgarvan. Traffic will then be redirected at the signal-controlled junction in Athgarvan onto the R416. Traffic will then be directed along the R416 to Newbridge and finish at Walshestown Crossroads.

Southbound traffic shall be directed at Kineagh Crossroads onto the R416 into Athgarvan and will be redirected at Donnelly’s Hollow onto the L7034 towards Ballysax. Traffic will be redirected onto the L6025 and then the L6026 to finish at the L7035 junction.

Northbound traffic shall be directed onto the L6025 towards the Curragh Golf Club, then onto the L7034 to turn towards Athgarvan at the junction with the R413 (Donnelly’s Hollow). Traffic shall be directed towards Kilcullen on the R413 and finish at Kineagh Crossroads.

Eastbound traffic shall be redirected further along the R448 towards Kilcullen and redirected to the L6079 towards Yellowbog to turn onto the L6086 and subsequently the L6087 to finish at the junction with the L6089 at Castlefish.

Westbound traffic shall be directed onto the L6089 at Castlefish and then the L6086 where it will be redirected onto the L6079. Traffic shall then be directed to turn south towards Kilgowan on the R448 to finish at the junction with the L6089.

Eastbound traffic shall be directed towards Naas on the R448 at Mylerstown Crossroads where it shall be redirected onto the L3013 relief road. Traffic shall then be directed towards Ballymore Eustace on the R411 until it finishes at its junction with the L6089 (Watch House Cross).

Westbound traffic shall be directed towards Naas on the R411 and redirected onto the L3013 relief road. Traffic will be directed towards Kilcullen on the R448 until it finishes at its junction with the L6089 (Mylerstown Cross).

Westbound traffic shall be directed towards Paddy’s Bridge on the L7087 and then onto the L7089 at a junction close to Paddy’s Bridge. Traffic shall be directed on the L7089 towards the junction that finishes the diversion.
