Nationally, 369 community centres will receive funding.
A number of local community centres are set to benefit from a €26 million allocation to carry out improvement and refurbishment works.
The funding will help support a wide range of improvements, from floor replacements to the installation of solar panels.
Below is a breakdown of the projects and their associated funding:

Clane Project Centre CLG (Kildare)
The Clane Project Community Centre is set to benefit from €77,220 in funding, which will be used for the refurbishment of its external windows and doors, the installation of two new toilet suites, two kitchens, new laminate flooring, internal wall painting, and the addition of solar panels. -
County Kildare LEADER Partnership CLG (Kildare)
The Kildare Community Development Centre will receive €100,000 to refurbish its roof. -
Kilcullen GAA (Kildare)
Kilcullen GAA Community Hall will undergo significant improvements, with €79,200 allocated for upgrading essential services. This includes replacing the fire alarm, insulating the room, upgrading toilets, replacing doors, and upgrading wiring. Emergency and external lighting will also be installed. -
Newbridge Family Resource Centre CLG (Kildare)
Newbridge Family Resource Centre will receive €41,110 to upgrade its coffee dock into a full kitchen area, expanding its capacity to serve the community. -
Sallins Sunshine Club (Kildare)
The Sallins Community Centre will be refurbished with €97,000 in funding to improve its first-floor facilities, creating a more comfortable and accessible environment for community activities. -
Teach Dhiarmada CLG (Kildare)
Teach Diarmada Community Centre will receive €36,900 for the installation of solar panels, LED fittings, a sound system, and necessary equipment upgrades to modernise the facility. -
Caragh GFC (Kildare)
Caragh GFC Community Hall will benefit from €100,000 to refurbish its windows, doors, heating, and lighting, making the hall more energy-efficient and comfortable for users. -
Kilcullen Community Centre CLG (Kildare)
Kilcullen Community Centre will use its €66,687 grant to replace the existing hall floor and upgrade its heating system.
Nationally, 369 community centres will get a cash boost.
