This gift is a bespoke wooden Rocking Horse, built in the workshops of Midlands Prison Service. It is an amazing piece of work that would easily command a price in excess of €2,500.
Kfm is partnering with this appeal to help the reach and demand of tickets and funds for the very valuable work of Home School Completion programs within Kildare.
Christmas is often a time that opens hearts and minds to difficult issues such as restorative justice, importance of education in breaking cycles of poverty and deprivation which are rooted in many of the backgrounds of those that reside in Prison services.
