Sections Of The M4 In Kildare Will Close For Works.

Rolling closures to take place in June.

Kildare County Council is proposing to close a section of the M4, on a rolling basis, in June,.

Its to facilitate maintenance of the road network, including replacement of filter drain material on the roadside verges.

	Road to be closed	From	To	Duration of closure
1	M4	Junction 8 Kilcock	Westbound off slip	For 2 nights - 21 June and 22 June 2021 between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m.
2	M4	Junction 8 Kilcock	Eastbound off slip and Eastbound on slip	For 2 nights - 22 June and 23 June 2021 between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m.
3	M4	Junction 8 Kilcock	Westbound on slip	For 2 nights - 23 June and 24 June 2021 between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m.

Alternative Routes

Diversion route via M4 Junction 7 Maynooth, R406, R148, R125, R407 and Junction 8 Kilcock.
Diversion route via M4 Eastbound to Junction 7 Maynooth and turn to return on M4 to Junction 8 Kilcock for eastbound traffic and via R407, R125, R148 and R406 to Junction 7 Maynooth for westbound traffic.
Diversion route via R148 to Junction 9 Enfield.

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána.
