Several Dogs Seized In Athy, Following Reports Wildlife Had Been Killed.

The operation was joined mounted by local Gardai and Kildare's Dog Warden.

Gardai in Athy have seized several stray dogs, following reports that other animals had been killed.

Gardai say that includes a cat.

Community Gardai and Kildare County Council's Dog Warden located and seized 3 stray dogs.

Gardai say "A huge thanks to local residents who assisted in the operation. "

They are advising that "Owners must keep there dogs under control and face prosecution if they do not."
