Shoppers in Newbridge were left shocked after an alleged violent altercation broke out in broad daylight at the Whitewater Shopping Centre on Sunday afternoon.

The altercation appears to start outside the shopping centre before developing further inside.
Frightened shoopers looked on from the top of the escalators as the event unfolded.
Gardaí confirmed they received a report of an alleged incident of violent disorder at the shopping centre at approximately 3:35pm on Sunday, 7th September 2025.
A male juvenile was taken to Naas General Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
