There's been a significant jump in new car registrations in Kildare.
The Society of the Irish Motor Industry says 4,085 cars have been sold in the county between January and August.
That's a 16% increase on the same period last year, when 3,522 cars were registered in Kildare.
Nationally, registrations are up by 25.1%.
