The incidents occurred across Coill Dubh, Caragh, Ballymore Eustace, and Celbridge, between the 22nd-24th of February
Gardaí are appealing for information following a spate of burglaries across Coill Dubh, Caragh, Ballymore Eustace, and Celbridge.
Two stolen vehicles are believed to be involved in all of the incidents, that occurred between the 22nd-24th February.
On Saturday morning at approximately 3am, in the Willow Lawns estate in Coill Dubh, entry was gained to a house and keys to a red, Volkswagen Polo with the registration 182KE were taken.
The vehicle, parked on the road outside of the house, was stolen.
The following Monday morning, between the hours of 4am-5am, a house in the Church View estate in Caragh was broken into.
Car keys for a silver Renault Fluence with the registration 11D were taken, and so was the car.
These two stolen vehicles then appeared in burglaries and criminal damage that took place in the county.
That same morning, Monday 24th between the hours of 4-7am, the two cars were seen approaching a Chinese takeaway on the Main Street in Ballymore Eustace.
Two males from each car exited the vehicles, all wearing dark clothing, balaclavas, and gloves.
One of the males caused a considerable amount of damage to the premises, smashing the glass.
The three other males entered the premises at approximately 5am.
The owner of the premises lives above the takeaway, with gardaí saying it would have been a frightening experience for the injured party.
Cash and a phone were taken.
Gardai believe the two cars then travelled in the Blessington/Dunlavin area.
The two stolen cars are also believed to be involved in two burglaries that occurred in Celbridge that same Monday morning.
The owner of Jojo's Coffee Shop on the Maynooth Road in Celbridge arrived to work that morning to find the glass of the front door was smashed, and a red coloured vehicle was involved in the incident.
Gardaí believe the red, Volkswagen Polo was the vehicle involved.
Following the burglary of the coffee shop, Head Office Hair and Beauty on the Aghards road was also broken into that same morning.
The front door was smashed, and cash was taken.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information on any of these incidents to contact Kilcullen gardaí on 045 481 212, Naas gardaí on 045 884 300, Leixlip garda station on 01 666 7800 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
