The Naas Roads Policing Unit also found the driver to be disqualified from driving
A driver with five warrants for his arrest - including two that required him to be in prison - was recently caught by the Naas Roads Policing Unit.
The driver was detected doing 158km/h in a 120km/h zone on the M7 at Monasterevin, and was also discovered to be disqualified from driving.
Gardaí arrested the driver, and brought him to Kildare Garda Station.
The driver was subsequently charged with three offences and transferred to Limerick Prison.
The vehicle was impounded.
