The incident happened at Painstown Cross on Monday
A robbery has taken place at a filling station in Painstown Cross at about 5.40pm on Monday evening.
A man entered the shop and threatened staff with a knife while demanding cash.
The culprit then went behind the shop counter and took cash from the till.
He left the shop and ran to a car that was waiting on the four court for him and drove away.
The car is described as a green Toyota.
Gardaí in the Detective unit in Leixlip are investigating the incident and are seeking the assistance from the public on it.
