Status Orange Rain Warning For Wicklow And Three Other Counties From 10pm Tonight

A status yellow alert will be in place for Carlow from the same time

A status orange rain warning will be in place in some counties from tonight.

It will cover Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry and Waterford from 10pm until midnight tonight.

A similar status yellow alert will be in place for Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary from 10pm tonight for 24 hours.

While the east will be hit with heavy rain tomorrow.

Spells of heavy rain are forecast which could lead to localised flooding in parts of the country.
