Kildare County Council is continuing to accept submissions on its proposal to alter certain elements of the draft Athy Local Area Plan.
The changes are comprised of amendments to the following documents:
SEA Screening Report
SEA Screening Determination
SEA Environmental Report
AA Natura Impact Report
AA Screening Determination
An Environmental Report on the likely significant effects on the environment
An Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Report

The proposed Material Alterations and associated documents, will be on public display and may be inspected until Wednesday 9th June 2021 inclusive at the following locations:
- Planning Office, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas during opening times of 9.30am–4.00pm, Monday to Friday (closed Bank Holidays). In accordance with public health advice, appointments must be booked in advance at http://kildare.ie/countycouncil/OnlineBookingSystem/ and face coverings must be worn in public buildings.

Make a Submission/Observation
Submissions or observations with respect to the Proposed Material Alterations only to the Draft Athy Local Area Plan and associated SEA and AA documents, may be made before 4pm on Wednesday 9th June 2021. Submissions or observations should be clearly marked ‘Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Athy Local Area Plan 2021-2027’ and must be submitted either:
