The Fine Gael leader's approval rating has fallen by 4 to 36, while Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin is ahead of him.

The scoliosis scandal may be to blame for a dip in popularity for Tánaiste Simon Harris.

The Fine Gael leader's approval rating has fallen by 4 to 36, while Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin is ahead of him on 44 percent, in the latest Sunday Independent/ Ireland Thinks Poll.

Kevin Cunningham from Ireland Thinks believes there are a number of reasons why Simon Harris's vote may have slipped.
