While he did not want to "speak for" Minister Moran, Harris stated that he would be "happy" to meet local representatives from the committee.

Tánaiste Simon Harris has expressed his willingness to facilitate discussions on the future of Castletown House.

Speaking on Kildare Today in response to a message from the Save Castletown Committee, Harris said he would ask OPW Minister Kevin "Boxer" Moran to meet with the group concerned and engage with stakeholders on the matter.

He also indicated that he would be open to meeting with them himself in the future.

While he did not want to "speak for" Minister Moran, Harris stated that he would be "happy" to meet local representatives from the committee.

He added that an early visit by Minister Moran would be "useful" and that he intended to speak with him about it today.
