Five accommodation centres have been identified by the Government to provide 90 days of accommodation for new arrivals from Ukraine.
The centres will be situated in Punchestown, Dublin City Centre, Stradbally, Limerick City, and Cork City.
The five centres will accommodate over 2,000 refugees.
Meanwhile, from tomorrow, anyone fleeing the war in Ukraine who registers for temporary protection and looks for state-provided accommodation will be accommodated for 90 days at most.
Also from tomorrow, standard social welfare payments will no longer be available to a person while they are resident in such centres.
Speaking in Boston, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says he's not expecting major protests outside the centres.
