TD: Face-To-Face Banking Has Effectively Ended In Leixlip.

Bank of Ireland & AIB are closing their branches.

Face-to-face banking has, effectively, left Leixlip.

Bank of Ireland closed its branches on Main Street, and at Intel, last week.

While, its understood, that AIB on the town's Main Street is no longer operating.

The state remains a significant shareholder in Allied Irish Bank.

Kildare North Social Democrat TD and Co-Leader, Catherine Murphy, has been speaking to Kildare Today.
