A teenage boy has died in Co Offaly, after the tractor he was driving entered a deep drain.
The incident happened at Black Castle Bog, Clonmore.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 11pm last night.
The boy was pronounced dead and his body was taken to Tullamore Hospital.
The road will is currently closed to allow for examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with dashcam footage, to come forward.
