Temporary Closure Of M7 Roundabout In Kildare Town Extended.

Kildare County Council says it will remain closed until July 31st.

Kildare County Council has confirmed the extension of the closure of an M7 roundabout slip road in Kildare.

Road closure extended until Friday, 30 July 2021 inclusive.

The closure is required to facilitate a road realignment and roundabout installation.

Alternative Routes

Northbound vehicles travelling on the R415 towards Kildare will divert left at the junction of R415/L7024 (circa 3km) to the L3004.

Southbound vehicles travelling on the R415 towards Nurney will divert straight on at the junction of R445/R415 (circa 3km) to the R415.

Southbound vehicles travelling on the M7 intending to exit at Junction 13 towards Fontstown will divert at Junction 12 M7 via the R416.

Northbound vehicles travelling on the M7 intending to exit at Junction 14 towards Fontstown will divert at Junction 12 M7 via the R417.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
