The OPR has released its annual report.
The Office of the Planning Regulator investigated 6 cases from Kildare in 2020.
They were among 130 cases investigated by the Office last year.
The OPR says "This figure is lower than the 180 unique cases because many of the cases received related to the planning system generally, rather than a particular local authority or area."
There was a significant increase in the number of local authority development plans evaluated by the OPR in 2020.
There was a "large increase" in complaints made to the OPR regarding how local authorities operate their planning function, with a number of these complaints upheld.
The report also shows that over 80% of planning applications submitted in Kildare were granted
