The project is due to finish at 6pm.
Water supply disruption is expected in parts of Naas until this evening.
Kildare County Council says essential maintenance is being carried out at Abbey Street.
Supply there, and to Moatville Apartments, Abbey Bridge and surrounding areas will be affected.
The project begins at 9am, and is due to finish at 6pm.
It could take up to three hours, after that, for the system to refill and for normal supply to resume.
