Investigations are continuing in to the apparent theft of the contents of a Kildare ATM, by thieves who tunneled 15 metres underground to get to the machine.
The theft, from the ATM, at Maxol at the Crossings on Sallins Road, Naas, was only discovered as Ulster Bank accessed the site to remove the machine on Monday.
The garage is beside a school and Naas GAA, and it seems that thieves tunneled in to the site from nearby grounds.
