The project has already been granted funding.
A timeline is being sought for the beginning of already-funded works in Kilcock.
The project, which includes enhancement of entrances to the town, is being funded under the Town and Village renewal scheme.
Kildare County Council says this granting programme "will prioritise tackling vacancy in towns and villages, remote working and supporting town centre living."
Fianna Fáil Cllr., Paul Ward, wants to know when the project is expected to begin.
His motion will come before Friday's monthly meeting of the Clane Maynooth Municipal District.
