The incident reportedly occurred in the Aylesbury area.
Two people have been hospitalised after an alleged assault in Tallaght on Sunday night.
Gardaí are investigating the incident which happened at around 9:30pm in the Aylesbury area.
A woman in her early 20s and a man in his late teens were injured during the assault and were taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The scene was preserved last night for a technical exam, and no arrests have been made.
Gardai are appealing for information.
