Uisce Éireann have announced the delivery of the first phase of works in Two Mile House, where 2.4km of new water main has been installed to increase the supply capacity of the water network in the area.
The next phase of work is due to commence in the coming weeks, where approximately 10.8km of water main will be upgraded between Two Mile House and Newbridge.
The upcoming works between Two Mile House and Newbridge will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption to local residents.
The first section of works will commence outside Two Mile House on the Corbally Road (L2032) working towards Harbour Road from April 7th to the end of May.
A stop/go traffic management system will be in operation during this phase of work.
The works will be carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by Shareridge Ltd., with the overall project expected to be completed by late 2027.
