Uisce Éireann will begin works tomorrow to replace old and damaged water mains between Celbridge and Newcastle.
Kfm news recently reported exclusively on the upcoming works in Celbridge, following criticism around school accessibility and the timing of the works.
The road closure is to take place on R405, Hazelhatch Road, Celbridge, between Shinkeen Road and Newtown Road from tomorrow(Wednesday 6th of May) until Wednesday 1st of July 2026.
These works form part of the Celbridge to Newcastle water mains replacement project, which is being delivered under Uisce Éireann’s national Leakage Reduction Programme.
