That's how Kildare North Fianna Fail TD Naoise Ó Cearúil has described the circulation of posters featuring his image that are being stuck to poles.
Stickers showing his face alongside a crying child in Gaza, with the words “Voted for Israeli Bonds” printed across them, have been placed on poles in the constituency.
Deputy Ó Cearúil said the images are "factually incorrect".
He also said they are "litter" and "disrespectful" to the work of Tidy Towns volunteer groups.
"These people think they can just vandalise anywhere," he said.
He explained that other TDs and local representatives in the area are being targeted in a similar way, with some people even wearing t-shirts that feature similar images.
