The charity is busier than ever.
St.Vincent de Paul is calling for more volunteers in Co.Kildare.
In 2021 it had the highest amount of callers in the charity's history.
191, 000 calls were made to the charity last year.
This figure is up 12% on the previous year.
Chair, SVP National Recruitment and Training Centre, Matt Quinlan commented: " We're looking for volunteers who can can share their time with SVP.
"Primarily, we need people who will call to a house for home visitations," he said.
"We need people to visit houses and meet them face to face," he added.
SVP will provide a full range of training to anyone who wishes to apply.
It is looking for non judgemental,who are empathetic,with strong kindness, discretion and respect.
There are five parts to the online, four parts are online as e-learning modules.
The last part of the training requires the volunteer to attend a three hour face to face in person event.
