Uisce Éireann's Water Operations Lead for Kildare, Eoghan Forristal, has urged residents to be mindful of their water usage and report any leaks on the public network.
The recent freezing weather and subsequent thaw are expected to cause disruptions to water supplies across Kildare.
As frozen pipes begin to thaw, an increase in bursts and leaks is anticipated.
Uisce Éireann's Water Operations Lead for Kildare, Eoghan Forristal, has urged residents to report any leaks on the public network.
"As a thaw replaces the freezing conditions we have experienced, we expect to see an increase in leaks and bursts on the network. Water services crews remain on standby to maintain and restore water supplies for customers in Kildare," he said.
