The project finished up at 6am this morning.
Water supply should be returning to affected parts of Athy this morning.
Irish Water is conducted overnight leak repairs on Offaly Street, which began at 7pm last night.
They were scheduled for completion at 6am this morning.
Irish Water says it could take up to three hours, after that, for the system to refill and for normal supply to resume.
