Gardai have arrested a woman as part of an investigation into money laundering by a West African Organised Crime Group.
The 44 year old was arrested this morning following a number of searches in Kildare and West Dublin
A significant number of electronic and financial items were also seized during the operation.
The woman is being held at Ronanstown Garda Station in Dublin, while investigations continue.
