Kildare County Council has confirmed that civil works on additional lighting in Bishop Rogan Park, Kilcullen are to begin next week.
It's estimated that the works will be completed by March.
Fine Gael Cllr. Tracey O'Dwyer called on the Council to provide an update at the recent Kildare-Newbridge MD meeting last week.
The installation of the public lighting is being funded by the Local Property Tax.
