The streetlights have been gone in the Caragh Court estate since November 2023
Kildare County Council has confirmed to Kfm that works to reconnect two streetlights in the Caragh Court housing estate in Naas will take place in January.
The lights have been out of action since November 2023 and the Council says the works require ESB attendance and the replacement of a mini pillar.
These works are scheduled to take place in January and the public lighting will be reconnected once this work is completed.
Kfm was contacted this week by the Caragh Court Residents Association, which represents over 900 people living in 263 houses, to say that they have been trying for over a year to get answers.
Secretary of the Residents Association, Brian Dempsey, says there is a feeling of frustration in the estate.
