A baby has been killed by a dog in Co Waterford.
It happened in the village of Clashmore in the early hours of this morning.

The three month old baby girl was attacked by a dog at a house in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services treated the baby at the scene and she was taken to Cork University Hospital.
However, she was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene at the house has been preserved and Gardai will carry out a technical exam later.
