Motorists continue to wait for up to six months for car tests.

Fianna Fáil says the NCT operator should have its contract terminated after reports of fake waiting times.

Motorists continue to wait for up to six months for car tests, despite the NCT website having advertised a national average wait time of just 14 days.

The RSA's contract with Applus was renewed in 2020 for 10 years, but has failed to honour its own customer charter of offering free tests if motorists are left waiting more than 28 days.
