Three Gardaí were injured last night
There are calls for people behind anti-immigration protests in Coolock in Dublin to 'take a step back'.
Three Gardaí were injured last night and one was hospitalised - after violence broke out following an earlier PEACEFUL protest by over a thousand people.
The Garda Public Order Unit was deployed and a section of the Malahide Road closed briefly, after objects were thrown at Gardaí by members of the crowd.
One man was arrested - he's since been released without charge.
Local Labour MEP Aodhán Ó Ríordáin says people are entitled to protest but the message is getting lost in the violence.
