Child Stabbed At North Dublin Primary School

A young boy has been taken to hospital in Dublin with injuries believed to be non-life threatening following what's described as an incident, as a primary school in north Dublin.

A child has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following an incident at a north Dublin primary school.

Gardai say it involves two children, both of whom attend the school.

It happened around 10.30am this morning.

It's understood that the child was stabbed.

Gardaí say they are in contact with the parents of both children, and are liaising with school management and staff.

They say there is no concern for public safety.
