Any package that reaches Ireland from midnight on 30 June will be subject to the new rules.
Consumers are being warned to be on high alert for scam messages seeking customs payments, with the introduction of new charges next week.
Deliveries shipped from outside the EU and valued at, or under, €150 will be hit with a €3 fee on each unique item in an order.
Any package that reaches Ireland from midnight on 30 June will be subject to the new rules.
The CCPC is also advising shoppers who hope to escape the charges by ordering before 1 July to scrutinise delivery dates to avoid being hit with an unexpected bill.
Gráinne Griffin, Director of Communications at the CCPC, has said that scammers will see this as an opportunity.
