It comes as a report outlined that data centres have already cost householders €715million extra on bills between 2015 and 2023.

A report from Friends of the Earth and Beyond Fossil Fuels found the rapid expansion of the centres across the country, has already cost householders €715million extra on bills between 2015 and 2023.
The report suggests they could add over €600 to the average household energy bill over the next decade , unless there is a change in government policy.
