Drivers between the age of 70 and 75 can now reapply for a drivers licence without the need for a medical assessment.
The Road Safety Authority and Royal College of Physicians is updating it's fitness to drive guidelines today.

However, drivers in this age bracket will have to self-declare any potential impairments like all drivers.
