A man and a woman in their 80s have been killed in a multi-vehicle car crash in Cork.
The incident involving a truck and three cars happened on the N28 Shannon Park Roundabout, Carrigaline, at around 11am this morning.
The occupants of one car , a man and woman in their 80s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of a second car was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital, however his injuries are not life threatening.
Traffic diversions are expected to remain in place for a number of hours.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
