A former employee of one of Ireland’s largest private parking operators claims staff were paid commission based on the number of vehicles they clamped.

APCOA says it operates in accordance with the Vehicle Clamping Act and that its enforcement activity complies with the law.

These claims have prompted response from Aontú, which has said private clamping companies should be called before an Oireachtas committee and required to disclose their profits.
