Over 200,000 calls were cancelled in 2019 and 2020, with over 3,000 relating to domestic violence.

The Garda commissioner will meet the Policing Authority today about the controversy over the cancellation of 999 calls.

It emerged earlier this month officers were continuing to cancel emergency calls - despite the issue emerging last year.
