That's according to a study by the Law Society of Ireland.
Half of female solicitors have experienced sexual harassment at some point in their career.
A new Law Society report, published in the Irish Independent, shows one in eight male solicitors have also suffered the same abuse.
However 91 percent aren't taking the matters further due to the profile or status of their abuser.
The Law Society says the findings are "troubling" and require a "collective call to action" to eliminate such behaviour.
