Minister Neale Richmond reports
Tánaiste Simon Harris is set to visit the US next week, in the wake of Donald Trump's tariffs on the EU.
He's due to meet US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick in Washington.
It'll come after he attends a meeting of EU trade ministers in Luxembourg on Monday, at which they're due to sign off on a list of counter-measures.
Minister Neale Richmond says Simon Harris is keen to highlight the importance of Irish industry to the US market.
