Hotels have seen a big boost in bookings for the key summer months since their reopening date was announced, according to the Irish Hotels Federation.
They'll welcome guests back from June 2nd, with 31 per cent of rooms across the country reserved for July and 27 per cent for August.
An IHF survey shows 57 per cent of rooms in the south east are booked up for July, which is proving to be the busiest month.
The Border Region, West and South West have occupancy levels of over 40 percent in that month, while they are as low at 11 per cent in Dublin.
