Report finds PSNI prioritised public security.
Policing of the Bobby Storey funeral in Belfast last year was carried out without biasing one community over another, according to a new report.
It was conducted by the Inspector of Constabulary in Britain.
The report found the PSNI prioritised public security over the enforcement of Covid 19 regulations.
The Inspector also agreed with the decision not to initiate prosecutions in relation to the funeral, saying there wasn't enough evidence to prove any of the attendees had knowingly committed an offence.
A report by HM Inspector of Constabulary has said the Metropolitan Police “acted appropriately” at the Sarah Everard vigil in Clapham Common in London earlier this month
